Welcome to Hiking Leadership Training (HLT)! The HLT is an entry-level course that covers all the basic skills you will need to successfully take youth on day hiking trips. We'll also have a chance to see Big Basin at a special time in its history and interact with the post-fire realities of the park. Thank you to Big Basin Redwoods State Park and Parks California for partnering with us to present this program. One of the best parts of a BAWT course is learning from instructors and community members who also have a passion for taking youth outdoors. We're so glad you're joining us!
